Shorewise uses GPS location and speed to deliver real-time boating safety alerts, including shore-distance and local guidance reminders.
By default, core alert processing happens on-device. If optional analytics are enabled, they are anonymized and used only to improve reliability.
County coastline packs are downloaded to your device so guidance can continue when signal is weak or unavailable.
You can disable location permissions at any time in your phone settings. If permissions are off, live alerts will not function.
